You're not fighting each other. You're stuck in a pattern, and patterns can change.
Most couples don't come to therapy because they've stopped caring. They come because the same argument keeps repeating, one of you shuts down while the other pushes harder, or something has happened, like betrayal, a big life transition, or years of distance, that has made it hard to trust each other again. I have specialized training in couples work, including crisis management for high-conflict couples and healing after infidelity and betrayal trauma, so I can help even when things feel volatile.
In our first sessions, my focus is on slowing things down: helping you both feel safe enough to talk without getting flooded or reactive, and separating individual struggles from the patterns you create together. From there, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you see the cycle you're caught in and the deeper needs and fears underneath it, such as the longing to feel valued, secure, and heard. I also bring in IFS, EMDR, and practical communication tools to help you rebuild trust at a pace that works for both of you. I work with couples of all kinds, including LGBTQIA+ and non-traditional relationships, whether you're trying to repair, reconnect, or decide what's next.
