In-Network with Aetna Insurance. Providing compassionate, trauma-informed online therapy for individuals & couples.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based methods—including EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT, Polyvagal Theory, and Solution-Focused Therapy—to help you understand yourself, heal from past experiences, and build practical tools for lasting change.
My practice is especially welcoming to LGBTQIA+ individuals, creatives, writers, and artists, and professionals navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, or creative blocks (including writer’s block). I especially enjoy helping clients who feel stuck—often high-functioning on the outside but overwhelmed or uncertain internally.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, and have experience with complex cases including dual diagnoses and trauma. Earlier in my career, I worked at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, providing crisis intervention, counseling, and long-term support for LGBTQIA+ youth and adults experiencing homelessness and foster care—an experience that continues to shape my trauma-informed, affirming approach.
My goal is for clients to leave with more than symptom relief: a deeper understanding of themselves, greater confidence, and tools they can rely on long after therapy ends.

To become an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, a licensed mental health professional with at least two years of experience must complete the following advanced requirements:
The IFS Online Introductory Program provides a comprehensive overview of the Internal Family Systems model. Key elements include:

Trauma-informed grief training focused on creating stories of love & resilience in the face of death & grief.
Training in how to manage high conflict couples in session. Key training points include:
The HHCLA Motivational Interviewing training teaches providers person-centered communication for vulnerable populations. It focuses on using OARS techniques (open questions, affirmations, reflections, summaries) to evoke "change talk" and non-confrontational strategies to de-escalate client resistance.
All sessions are held virtually via a HIPAA-compliant Zoom platform, so you can access therapy securely from anywhere in California. This offers the same confidentiality protections as an in-person session, with the flexibility to meet from home, your office, or wherever feels comfortable. I am an In-Network Aetna therapist, and can provide you with a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. I am happy to work with you to keep therapy affordable, and have some sliding scale spots available.
